No, the typical tv has built in slots for the feet that can't be relocateded. But that is a great idea for future models.

Nope. The stand is how it appears in the image, I think close to 50 inches spread apart or so. It was a giant TV and did not fit on my TV stand because of how wide the legs are from one another so I had to get a wall mount.
