Ps5 says a vrr update is coming soon and vizio says they are working on a fix to allow 120hz from the ps5 to work. All my research points to a ps5 vrr fix by spring and a possible vizio fix by summer. Pretty unsettling since both my vizio quantum p65q9-h1 and my ps5 came out in 2020.

The TV would not update on it's own through WiFi.. it always said the TV is "up to date.." even though it had an old firmware revision. After updating manually, my PS5 works on HDMI 3 and 4 now. I don't have any 120hz games, but I'll assume it would work. It's operating on HDMI 2.1, with HDR working.
