- Answer I just picked this tv up today. This tv does have hdmi 2.1 ports. This is the 2020 model with the new processor and gaming engine. 4k at 120hz and e-arc.

- Answer HDMI ports 3 & 4 are HDMI 2.1, with full 4k 120hz support. The rest are 4k 60hz max.

QuestionThere is a plastic film over the screen and it doesn't look like it should be removed. Should it?

- Answer So I didn’t have a film over the screen of my set. There was film around the edge pieces. Also there was a large piece of cardboard taped to the set that protected the screen.

- Answer Protective plastic was only on the bezel. The actual screen is protected by a giant cardboard sheet.

- Answer P Series has measured under 4 ms at 120Hz and under 11 ms at 60Hz, we recommend 120Hz for gaming.

- Answer Hello, You do not need a separate Apple TV 4K device to watch 4K content. You can watch 4K content by casting it from your phone, or through the built in apps that are included in SmartCast.

- Answer The native refresh rate does NOT fully describe the TV’s motion clarity technology. The “open cell” or “native” refresh rate describes only the glass panel’s ability to refresh the image on the screen, without taking into account the benefit of the scanning backlight. The “native” refresh rate for this TV is 120. VIZIO’s TVs have a Dynamic Motion Rate, which better describes the TV’s ability to achieve motion clarity through the use of its glass panel and scanning backlight. The Dynamic Motion Rate for this TV is 240.

- Answer After the latest firmware update, all 4 hdmi ports are supposed to be hdmi 2.1 capable of 4k/120/hdr but I’ve noticed weird behavior with ports 3 and 4. I originally had my PS5 connected to port 3 but it wouldn’t sometimes give me any sound. After talking with Vizio support I was told to plug the PS5 into port 1 or 2. But since port 1 is EARC, I decided to use port 2. So far, no problems since. Now with my Xbox Series X, I have it connected to port 3. It works for 4k/120/hdr/VRR in theory, but it sometimes does this weird backlight flicker that gets annoying. Other times it will come through as a scrambled signal and I’ll have to turn the Xbox off, then on again for it to correct itself. This happened even when I tried ports 1 and 2 to test. Also, it appears when all gaming features are enabled on Xbox - 4k/120hz/hdr/VRR and you play a game like Black Ops Cold War at 120fps, the tv will skip frames at times. Really weird. I’m hoping Vizio releases another firmware update soon to correct this. But overall for the price, this is a really good gaming tv and movie watching tv with deep blacks and great hdr performance.

QuestionI have a Samsung Soundbar that supports Atmos and DTS X as well as earc. Is there a good chance it works with this tv or do i have to replace my equipment with a VIzio Soundbar ?

QuestionHow would you TV compare to X900H? I'm reading Vizio has bad track record of TVs going bad, UI slow, parts from all types of companies. I'm looking at this TV for PS5 and PC gaming. Is 2.1 off the back or needs firmware update? Quality?

- Answer This model supports Bluetooth LE, which is a low energy form of bluetooth used to assist in pairing the VIZIO SmartCast Mobile application to use devices like smart phones and tablets as a remote for the TV. This TV is not designed to output audio over Bluetooth. You could purchase a Bluetooth transmitter and connect it to this TV to listen over Bluetooth.
