p series is better. It has twice the amount of local dimming zones. although the m series uses a fraction of the electricity.

The information comes from the RTINGS website review of the 2015 Vizio LED TV's. The P Series has more dimming zones (64-72), which is able to make the blacks blacker (a noted problem of LED TV"s vs. Plasma TV's). The P Series remote also comes with a full QWERTY keyboard on the back of the remote. A pretty cool thing, as I have found out!! One noted problem is the M series apparently upscales 1080P content better than the P series, which is a bit odd, since the P Series is a more expensive TV. That's what I could find. You can go out and google this information for yourself and read the different reviews of the two series. I will say that I own a 65" P-Series and love it!
