• Yes it works with many different TV models. I have it paired to a Hisense TV that has a streaming stick plugged in & it now operates the power, volume, etc.

• Yes it will. You just have to go through the remote setup in setting. I I have set up the remote on a Samsung and Sharp TV. I did notice that it will not control the sound bar.
