Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with the VTech VM5254. Like many electronic devices, a simple reset may resolve the issue. To do a complete reset on your baby monitor, kindly disconnect the power from the parent and baby unit then turn off both units. Wait for 1 minute then reconnect and test.
