- Answer Hi Debbi. If you need three bases, you need to order three of those. If you only need three phones in the house whit the same two phone numbers (this is a 2-line phone), all you need is two more EXTENSION phones that communicate with the only one needed base. Hope that helps.

QuestionThank you for answering the question on the amount of rings before it goes to voice mail. Are you aware of any phones that might have a larger amount of rings? More than 6? Phone is for a senior citizen and more than six rings would be great..

- Answer 6 rings is the maximum for VTech phones. Each ring cycle is approximately 6 seconds, so that gives you more than 30 seconds to view Caller ID and answer the call if you so choose. The beauty of a cordless phone system is having a cordless handset close to you, so you don't necessarily have to run to answer a call. Thanks!
