Sunshine - Here's how you can turn off the call screening feature of the VTech DS6251-2 for the answering machine to silently record messages. 1. Press Menu softkey on the cordless handset. 2. Press the arrow down button to choose Answering sys, then press Select softkey. 3. Press the arrow down t o choose Line 1 or Line 2, then press the Select softkey. 4. Press the arrow down button to choose Ans sys setup, then press the Select softkey. 5. Press the arrow down button to choose Call screening, then press the Select softkey. 6. Press the arrow down button to choose Off, then press the Select softkey to save your setting. Thank you, -VTech Support
