A nice phone set

It's only drawbacks are screen brightness, and I would like to turn the volume up which I don't think can be done - typical requests of an old geezer. No complaints.

Alright phone some issues

The time does not stay accurate so if you're trying to figure out when someone called don't bother. I also have experience not being able to listen to messages. People have left me messages and the machine will show I have one but when I hit play it says no messages so that defeats the purpose of an answering machine. The smart call function works really well. The battery on the phone last a long time as well. Overall it's a good phone but for some of the features to malfunction I wish it was cheaper.

Good Wall Phone Too

It’s hard to fine one that you can see all the buttons without having to be 6ft. tall. It’s a great phone, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there are too many functions and not really user friendly and easy to figure out. But the call quality is good which is it’s function.

vTech Cardless Home Phone

I made an excellent choice in finding a landline phone that will screen and block spam calls and callers I do not know. I suggest to purchase this phone for those who still have their landline telephone number as a backup to the cell phone. (When the cell phone towers go out during an emergency crisis, what are you going to do?)

Q: QuestionI purchased the Vtech DS6251-3.. I have 2 incoming lines through a phone jack. , it only recognizes 1 line and not both.. I have 2 identical phones set up same format that work fine. the latest one will not work for both lines. Any solution?

- A:Answer Shelly - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech DS6251-3. Make sure that you are using an RJ14 if your 2 lines are from the same telephone jack. The telephone system comes with 2 telephone line cord, use the black one to install the base to your jack. You may also test the base on the jack where the working phone is installed for isolation. Q: QuestionWe have two lines in our office but one cord. The phone we are replacing rolled the 2nd call over to the second line. When I plug the cord into this phone’s port that says line 1/2 it doesn’t roll 2nd call from our 2nd line over. Can this be done?

However, you have an option to connect a 2.5mm corded headset on the cordless handset or a VTech cordless headset model IS6200 to the telephone base.
