- Answer Hi Jackieg, This unit does require assembly, but comes with assembly instructions as well as all necessary parts. If you would like, you can purchase in-home set up through Best Buy if you'd like it done for you. Hope this helps.

QuestionCan I use the console without the drawers? I am thinking of putting additional components on the bottom shelf but would need to remove the drawers.Is that possible?
