Hi Glendon, Thanks for your question! Since most if not all vendors use the diagonal measurement for TV screens, we do in our descriptions as well. So this stand fits a 48" screen, measured diagonally. If you're TV is larger than that, we do have some similar products that you may be interested in and will fit your needs.
