“What are the exact dimensions of the center area behind the doors? Someone said the outer storage areas are 15 5/8 but then someone said the center area behind the doors is 14 3/4 deep. Also, Is the center behind the doors 16" high or slightly higher?”

Hi Dani28, Wonderful question! The measurement behind the two doors is the overall height is 16" but the shelves can be adjusted, and the depth is 14-3/4" and the overall width is 27-1/2". The two outer shelves are top 9-1/8", middle 7-7/8" and the last section is 9-1/8" tall and they are 9-1/2" wide. We hope this helps. Thank you!
