“Does it out out actual heat or just for looks can you buy just the fireplace insert without the cabinet”

Hi Thanks, thank you for the question. The fireplace consoles put out heat as well. There is a switch that control the fire look and the heat so you can choose whether you want the heat on. The fireplace insert is not sold separately from the cabinet.

It actually puts out a fair amount of heat . Perfect for taking the chill off TV night .
