If brand new, possibly a manufacturing problem. If Best Buy can't answer it, I would check with the manufacturer themselves. Production problems can happen and get buy but most companies don't like to admit to it, which is why they don't like dealing with me, so check with them on that fact also if nothing else works out. Ultimately no matter how careful a company is, something can go wrong.
