Please try again later.The ION uses a rechargeable lithium battery that needs to be kept dry, so the unit should not be operated in the shower where it can get soaked all over. If you are worried about using a water pick making a mess in your bathroom, remember not to turn it on until the pick is in your mouth and to turn it off before you take the pick out of your mouth. As the water from the pick cleans between your teeth, water will accumulate in your mouth, so it's best to use it while standing over your sink. I've had one for years....
