“Is it normal for this machine to sound like a mini engine when it's turned on? It get super loud when on high (setting 6+)”

• I place mine on a washcloth. Makes it much quieter.

• Mine makes the same sounds. It is louder than I expected but about the same sound level as my electric toothbrush. It would be a bother if you were trying to floss while someone was trying to sleep in.

• Yes, it is rather noisy and previous models were noisy as well. Not sure if this could be designed quieter but this is expected.
