Depending on the humidity in your room, you can choose to connect a drain hose to allow the machine to run continuously.

For its size (it is small) it may decrease the humidity with about max 10% in a 700 sq ft apartment (2 rooms). So you may never get below to 65% if your indoors humidity without it was 75%. You may buy a bigger dehumidifier (which may make more noise) or you may install 2 smaller to go lower.

I empty mine about 3 times a day, but the humidity in my room is around 70% (in the morning, after work, then before bed)

Ours runs for about 9 hours before it needs to be emptied, but it might be different based on your environment.
