I purchased this Waykar dehumidifier after doing much research, to help us deal prevent mold and mildew in our apartment following a period with lots of extra rain where we live. The Waykar model came recommended for its compact size, noise level (supposedly quieter than others), and energy efficiency. Six weeks after arrival, it has been lived up to its billing and more! I've never owned a dehumidifier before and was afraid it would be potentially be loud, expensive, and hard to operate. I'm happy to report that it's not very loud (sort of a constant hum); our bill didn't go through the roof running it nightly; and it's super easy to operate (just three modes) and set to run automatically based on the humidity threshold you set. The water tank is fairly small, so you have to empty it every 8 or so when running, but to us, that was preferable to having a bulky unit that took up too much space. And it automatically shuts off when the tank is full, so as to not overfill. Very happy with this purchase. I'd definitely recommend, especially at its price point here (vs. other more expensive units)!

My waykar humidifier is working perfectly. After my apartment complex "fixed the roof" I started having heavy condensation build up on my windows and in the bathroom. After two days the condensation was basically gone. Set up was simple and operation is quite straightforward.

This Waykar unit is small for the space it can dehumidify, but mighty. We use it in our bedroom and it's really quiet, unlike some other brands we've owned over the past. It is simple to use and efficient. We live coastal and so the condensation is so much we are filling this dehumidifier up after a day or two. I highly recommend this dehumidifier. Very easy to use, as well.

I’m very happy with this dehumidifier overall. It pulls a surprising amount of moisture out of the air and made a noticeable difference. The water tank is easy to remove and empty, and the controls are simple and straightforward. The only reason I’m giving it 4.5 stars instead of 5 is the noise level. It’s just a bit louder than I expected — not unbearable, but noticeable if you’re sensitive to sound. That said, it’s perfectly fine for daytime use or in a basement. Overall, it’s efficient, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would definitely recommend it.

I always felt a dampness on the second floor and knew the humidity was high, but I eventually found out it was at 78% RH. With the intention of controlling the humidity, I purchased several different dehumidifiers through Amazon, but they were surprisingly noisy, so I returned them all. In the end, I placed a Waykar 30-Pint in the second-floor hallway and became satisfied with it. (I also purchased the Waykar 150 and 80-Pint models for my home). First of all, if you are sensitive to noise, please buy this product. Also, this product has a timer, so it is safe to leave it on when you go out. For your information, it does not have an App control feature. Of course, it is nice to be able to control them from outside the house via an App, but the problem is that there isn't much time to adjust them frequently (I often miss the timing). It is actually more convenient and better to just set the timer and go about your day. When the water tank is full, it automatically stops operating and a red light turns on, so you can tell right away. The dehumidifying function is also good. I recommend this product.

Two years ago I "over" researched the purchase of a new dehumidifier. I ended buying a recognizable name brand for over $200 to be placed in the basement of our cabin. We got two years from it but in addition, it ran really warm meaning when it was on it blue (to us) a lot of warm air which would heat our basement and while quieter then the unit we had for 13 years, it was loud enough to where we had to close the door where it was housed if we had guests. Instead of repairing it I decided to move on. I found this gem doing half the analysis, read multiple reviews and I am beyond impressed! It is not loud, it blows what I would call a light amount of not hot but not cold air. Minimal impact on lower level temps. We have it set to auto drain. It was less money then the last recognizable name brand, quieter, small in stature. I am very happy with it and even if this one dies in two years without hesitation I will replace with the new model!

I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this model! My bedroom gets very humid during the summer because of poor air circulation. We installed a window mounted ac unit last year, but summer was still unbearably sticky despite it running constantly. This summer was the first year we've had comfortable mornings, and I don't know how we lived without this. The display showed the humidity percentage of our room (it was about 70%) and NOTICEABLY improved the air within 30min. I read that emptying the water tank was an issue with this model, however, I empty the reservoir MAYBE 3 times a day. Also, the reservoir is easy to empty (it holds about 40oz of water(?)) and the dehumidifier came with accessories for continuous draining. Overall, this product is perfect for my needs. With a manageable water tank, compact design, and almost immediate changes in my room, I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone.

This little machine is quiet and does the job. I leave it overnight on comfort level and by the time I wake up, the tank is filled and it auto stops itself. Considering to buy another one with a bigger size capacity for my living room!

Its pretty quiet, i gotta generally empty it either one a day an or once every 2 days depending on the humidity. Its made our room noticeably warmer so its doing an amazing job at keeping the moister down in the room.

Cute compact dehumidifier that does the job. This is the perfect size for our 300 sq ft bedroom which gets really humid during the winter. Great price too!

I think this dehumidifier is a good size for a bedroom. It is quiet and easy to maintain. A good value.

The controls are easy to use. The user manual was straightforward to understand. Great product. It is taking out humidity in my basement. The noise level is quiet. The only thing I wished they did was to make a longer hose for the drain port and even though the hose fits into the drain port I wished they would make it so it is screwed on instead of fitted over the drain port so sometimes the hose might come loose if you accidentally hit it. That is the reason for the 4 stars.

I’ve been using this Waykar dehumidifier for about a month and am very happy with it. It runs very quietly, yet removes moisture effectively and collects a surprising amount of water. It has worked well so far and is easy to recommend.

I bought this humidifier since my windows would become pretty wet in the mornings during cold weather, and it's worked excellently at lowering the moisture. It also helps a lot in my bathroom, which lacks proper ventilation, by removing the majority of the dampness after showering. I like how it's portable and easy to transfer from room to room. It's also really simple to use. Overall, I'm quite pleased with it.

This dehumidifier is a little bit smaller than I expected, but it works well and is nice and quiet. The shipping was quick and the product arrived safely.

Purchased this for my trailer in Washington this winter. Very cold and rainy in the Pacific West Coast. The trailer is 26 feet with a slide out. The 4 is due to reservoir capacity too small. Timer has to be reset each day.
