• From my use so far I don’t believe so. The device records at all time but the purpose of the data plan is to receive real-time alerts if the device detects a bump or impact. I assume you are asking if that can be done to avoid the cost of the data plan, if not I don’t know what the reason would be to try connecting to the phone hotspot.

• Nope, your phone ends up connecting to the camera’s Wifi. Seems to not cause any issues, as I’ve ran my music over Bluetooth, and checked in on the camera, and GPS at the same time, without any hiccups.

• Yes it gets connected, the nly problem is as you walk away it gets disconnected. ut you can review the recording by connecting again. There is no real time feed
