No you don’t have to delete your stuff on the main drive. Once you put it in and format it you can transfer your games onto it.

You’ll have the option to move you’re current games & apps onto this additional storage SSD from the PS5’s SSD. The only way you’ll lose what you have is if you delete them yourself so no, nothing will be deleted.
