“Can you run PS5 games directly from this? I saw on a forum that with EXTERNAL drives, you have to move the games over to the PS5 internal storage in order to play them. Is this the same case?”

This is an internal drive. PS5 games run directly from this. Games do not run from external drives. Installing the drive only takes a couple minutes.

PS4 games you can install and run from an external hard drive. I have a 2TB SSD installed that I install my PS5 games to, leaving the system storage until I need to use it. I install my PS4 games to a 4TB external drive.
