Honestly I took the heatsync that came with this and bought an aftermarket heatsync cover.

No you don't, this model has heatsink attached from manufacturer.

Nope it is perfect as it is. Just slap it in, initialize it and you are good to go. Easiest storage upgrade next to the Series X card.
