Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it would. Sometimes you have to be creative and leave off a cover part of the older drive to make it fit better. Use some plastic or hard cardboard to wedge on the opposite end from the connector. There is no heat risk from SSDs as they run much cooler than even the older hard drives that run fairly cool themselves. SSDs I have installed run cool and save your battery life...yet another bonus besides increased speed. Remember do not defragment SSDs.
