Is this storage device a 5400 or 7200 rpm hard drive? null

All but the 1TB version of this drive are 5400 rpm. These are also SMR drives and not CMR being sold. I recommend the WB Black 2TB or larger if you are looking for 7200 rpm and good write speeds. Otherwise if you are just storing documents or photos, this 5400 rpm SMR drives will work just fine.
