“Hello. I purchased the SA510 SATA SSD. My Apricorn USB-SATA WIRE will not work with my PC to clone the HDD. Please recommend a USB-SATA adapter that works with SA510. Does it need a 12V supply? Thank you.”

I'm answering my own question, after Western Digital said not to use an adapter... But, I already got it to work by downloading the Apricorn software for cloning hard drives. This software was able to see the SSD through the USB adapter, cloned my disk drive succesfully. I then replaced the old HDD with the SSD and my laptop is working better than ever.
