This is a nice SSD 1 TB HD for the price. My Asus G750JW had a 1 TB DiskDrive, but over the years it Broke. The WD Blue SSD 1-TB is currently running that same Laptop that I am giving this review from. It Gave my old Asus laptop New life & it boots up faster now, that it ever did when it was bought NEW. I have only had it for about 5 days so far, but it runs my laptop Great. I would Recommend it to anybody that wants Fast Boot Ups & a lot of storage for an affordable price.

I wouldn't use it as your main boot drive or even for your main store options, but these older style SATA SSD drives are great to have on hand when you just need more space for files you don't always need fast access to.

As recommended by Geek Squad, replacement of the failing, original mechanical disk drive was very satisfactory. Drive is working seamlessly AND faster than the old one. It renewed our Dell Inspiron 15 - 5000 Series laptop, saving us having to purchase a new one. The Geek Squad also successfully copied all of our files to the new 1TB drive.

My Western Digital WD Blue SA510 SATA SSHD was a great purchase. This device has probably added at least 5 years to my Hewlett Packard desk top computer and it operates at a much greater speed than my old mechanical hard drive. It should be noted that I am a Total Tech member so the installation of the new hard drive was covered in my membership! (In the below photos, 'before' is on the left, and 'after' is on the right.)

I have it shoved in my wife's pc. Seems like its working fine, a little out dated so the write speed is a little slow.

This purchase was huge game changer for a non top tier gamer like myself. There obviously other ssd cards with much more memory but just 1tb of ssd makes a difference. Would recommend to anyone.

Great SSD to replace boot hard drive. Helped my older AMD FX system get a great performance boost. I would highly recommend this SSD. I also like the 5 year warranty.

Very good ssd runs fast and a lot of space to fit games and other files perfect for anyone with a computer

Overall, it gets the job done make sure to check your motherboard specifications, had a hard time trying to get it to appear in windows but that's not the issue with the SSD. Installed System Shock and load times are a split second after getting destroyed by cyberborg goons. Recommended for anyone building a first time PC.
