Q: will this drive work for a eufy home base for extra storage?
A: For future reference it worked with no issues. Just had to format it after installation and reconnected the power. The Eufy Security homebase S380 recognized it quickly and you have to format it through the Eufy app. Very simple!

A powerful upgrade or new life to old laptops
This is a nice SSD 1 TB HD for the price. My Asus G750JW had a 1 TB DiskDrive, but over the years it Broke. The WD Blue SSD 1-TB is currently running that same Laptop that I am giving this review from. It Gave my old Asus laptop New life & it boots up faster now, that it ever did when it was bought NEW. I have only had it for about 5 days so far, but it runs my laptop Great. I would Recommend it to anybody that wants Fast Boot Ups & a lot of storage for an affordable price.

Decent, kinda slower.
I have it shoved in my wife's pc. Seems like its working fine, a little out dated so the write speed is a little slow.

WD Blue SA510 1TB SSD SATA
As recommended by Geek Squad, replacement of the failing, original mechanical disk drive was very satisfactory. Drive is working seamlessly AND faster than the old one. It renewed our Dell Inspiron 15 - 5000 Series laptop, saving us having to purchase a new one. The Geek Squad also successfully copied all of our files to the new 1TB drive.
