Do you plan on shucking the drive(s)? If yes, then. Is your system raid compatible? If yes, then. How many drives do you have? If more than two, then yes. If answers are yes; then yes it can be used in raid. Raid is set by either a raid controller at a hardware level or by the operating system; and not by storage device.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Provided your raid controller software will work with external USB drives I see no reason that they would not work - I'm only referring to Raid 0 (striping) or Raid 1 (mirroring). I do not know enough about the other raid configurations to comment
