How do you remove (delete) files from this drive? Or even edit right on the document and save? Everytime I try, it tells me I have to make a duplicate file, store somewhere else, and then make changes?? null

This is an external hard drive. It is used in the same way as the drive on your computer. You delete a file as needed and if you want to edit a document, you retrieve the document into your editing program, as you would from your computer hard drive, and make changes and resave it. I use it for retrieving and saving from desktop to laptop, as well as a backup. I can edit on any computer at any time. I hope this helps.
