Can I use this to back up my files from my Dell laptop? null

Hi Maggie, Please let us confirm that WD Easystore is a plug and play device that is designed and tested to work seamlessly with Windows 10, 8.1 and 7 and Mac based computers. It comes preformatted in the NTFS file system for Windows operating system. If you are using a Mac computer then the drive needs to be formatted in the HFS+J file system for operation. Maggie, yes you can use it to backup your files or programs off your laptop. Just plug it into your USB located on the side of the laptop, follow the onscreen instructions and either move the files one by one or goto settings under the backup tab and do a mass backup of your whole device.
