“Will this work with my dish receiver”

• Just tried it today. Dish DVR recognizes & formats. Would NOT transfer any recordings!!! Tried it four times. Just reboots DVR, goes through setup, then NOTHING!!!!!

• Usually the Dish receivers require a separate hard drive power supply to function correctly. Disk support has a toll free line. If you call them, make certain you have the receiver model number and software build.

• Yes, worked with mine, just took a long time to transfer show, it took 3 days for 1.5 Terabytes.

• If I recall correctly, to use an external HD with a Dish receiver, the drive must have an external power supply. This drive does not, so I do not think it will work.
