I'm a photographer and usually will use mutilple computers so an external hard drive will be unplugged often and used. I also will carry it in my bag. I know some externals are better left in one spot. How is this one with carrying? null

It's excellent for carrying. It can fit in your back pocket. They are not as bulky as they used to be.

I use it on several computers and move it around but take care when I move it. It is a std. hard drive so if you drop it there's a good chance it will break so some care is needed. Buying an SSD would take care of your concerns but of course, they are a lot more for the money.
