Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The hard drive connects with a USB port. That would not work with a phone. I have an IPhone so I have the ICloud on my laptop. My pictures and videos automatically download to the cloud. I just transfer them to the potable hard drive to save space on my laptop. You can get a portable Flash drive that will plug right into the phone. The other end of the Flash drive is an USB port that will plug into your lab top. You can then move them to portable hard drive. Just make sure the Flash drive is made to transfer from phones. The Flash drive I have is 256G so the will hold thousands of pictures. You could just store them on it.
