“I bought this Easy Store 5TB portable to backup my iPad Pro. I have it plugged it in, but am getting nothing to happen. How do I start it?”

I am using mine on a Windows computer to transfer video files to my Roku Ultra. Sometimes it isn't recognized by the Roku. I cleaned the drive port and cable ends, and it works great now. I would suggest cleaning the drive port contacts and cable ends, or just get a new cable. It works great now!

Hello West, Please be informed that the WD Easystore Portable Hard Drive is a plug 'n' play device and has connectivity with USB 3.0 devices as well as backward compatibility with USB 2.0 devices. The drive comes with USB 3.0 Type-A Interface. We have not tested the drive on mobile devices. We recommend to use computer to backup the phone to the drive.
