- Answer As long you have an USB port - this should work. I have a 2009 iMac and it’s great. Using it for iTunes library.

QuestionIt says the software is included, ie WD Discovery, but where? Do I go to a website to install? If it suppose to be on the disc it is missing. Am I just being an old person who doesn't get it?

- Answer I erased the drive without using it. But as I recall it is installed on the drive. No big thing if it is not there just download it from the WD website.

- Answer This is what I use it for. Had to call Dish to help set up. Was told it would be $40... but they didn't charge anything!!! So far works great... but can't move or set up folders... still has a lot of capacity for the money!

QuestionI'm a photographer and usually will use mutilple computers so an external hard drive will be unplugged often and used. I also will carry it in my bag. I know some externals are better left in one spot. How is this one with carrying?

- Answer The hard drive is 2.5mm. But the height will not fit a laptop. Most laptops take 7-9mm mac height this one is 15mm

- Answer Standard USB port is what, 500mA? So no more than that. Any desktop or laptop USB port should supply plenty of power.

QuestionWhat am I supposed to do whenever I turn off the ps4 or want to disconnect the Harddrive from it? I heard of some problems where after a while of turning the ps4 off, it could constantly ask to have you reformat the drive? Is that normal? Data lost?

- Answer Like any harddrive if it's in use and you unplug our pier it in the middle you could cause corruption issues. Just leave it on
