• From the question, it is hard to tell if you are asking about physical capacity of the drive, included backup utilities, or jpeg compatibility. Generally speaking, this drive can be used to backup photos from a Windows desktop. It's a really good, high capacity drive. Microsoft stopped supporting Windows 7 on January 14, 2020, so if you want to use third party backup software outside of Windows 7, you need to change computers. If you want to drag and drop a photo folder from your PC to this drive, you can do that.
