Has anyone taken one of these apart?

If so, do they have a normal SATA interface with a SATA to USB micro board, or do they have a soldered on USB connection?

Asking because SATA would allow this to be a large internal back up drive in a laptop. null

These are soldered, unfortunately. Not shuckable (no SATA access).
