“I bought an 1TB Seagate HDD last Black Friday and now it doesn't seem to work. I have alot of important music files on it that I need.Does Best Buy offer services where I can transfer the Seagate data(if its still ok) to the WD 8TB? Thank you in advance!”

Yes, Best Buy Geek Squad can transfer data. But, if the drive is damaged then you would need to use a data recovery company and they are not cheap.

If you plan to keep the 1TB drive then simply plug both of these into your USB port and copy the data from the 1TB to the 8TB. It will take some time but GeekSquad will not make it go any faster and factor in the time to get there and pick it up and the time it will take for them to do it. Most likely 2 days.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd just hook both drives to my computer. Open the file manager and click on the file holding my files. Do a Ctrl-C to copy them to clipboard. Then open the file manager on the new drive, click on the open area and do a Ctrl-V and that should copy all of them to the new drive.
