• Yes it is portable but it does require a separate AC power cord. you won;t be able to run this solely off your PC.

• It is portable and will work with your laptop, however it's a little too big for me to carry around every day. I would do it for a DJ setup though, because it is sturdy and will stand on it's own. Its about the size of regular sized Bible.
