“I purchased an 3.0 sub 2TB WD and it's not working correctly on my HP desktop nor my HP laptop....the computer system states it's working properly but I can't get it to open so I load files...it freezes up my laptop and doesn't do anything on desktop.”

Check permissions. If there are no files on it, reformat the drive. The files you are trying to save may be larger than are allowed on the drive so pick another format. Is it formatted for PC or Mac? I have Total Tech Support through Geeksquad so they can fix problems for me.
