Yes, it works great with the Playstation 4 - I use it to store all of my downloaded games from the PS Store.

It can be used for extra storage on PS4 or Xbox One, but will probably need to be reformatted first. The first page below is a link to the WD page on reformatting, the 2nd is a link to the PS page about external drives

Yes. I just purchased this a few weeks ago for my ps4 and it has allowed me to both transfer games and add new ones

This product allows extra external memory for the PS4. Its great because you can take the Passport anywhere and connect it to a friends console. No need to carry game disk with you.
