I need to find my password or get a new one null

I reformatted mine with the WD utility but I didn’t have photos, etc on it. Just back-ups of my laptop. Good luck!

To remove a forgotten password using the WD Security software, follow these steps: 1. Connect your WD My Passport drive to your computer. 2. Open the WD Security software. 3. Click the “Settings” tab. 4. Under the “Password Protection” section, click the “Change Password” button. 5. Enter the current password and then click the “OK” button. 6. Enter a new password and then click the “OK” button. 7. Click the “Close” button. Your WD My Passport drive will now be unlocked and you will be able to access its contents without a password.
