Please try again later.The first thing you should do is to allow the drive to try and repair itself, this usually fixes any corrupt files and restores the drive to a working condition, you could try running CHKDSK (If Using Windows) to scan the drive for errors, I'm assuming you weren't trying to transfer 300gb all at once, sometimes drives don't like huge chunks of data transferred and do better when it's transferred in smaller chunks. If all else fails and no drive errors are found you may have to reformat it. Just Google how to use CHKDSK or reformat a drive if you're unfamiliar with the procedures, good luck.
