Yes. I have used my drive on two different Smart TVs. One LG, and one Samsung. Neither TV had any issue reading from the unit.

Many TV's don't supply a great deal of power to their USB ports. Since this drive is powered directly by the USB and not a power adaptor it may not work. You may be better off looking for a large USB flash drive.

I used it with my Samsung smart tv and it worked fine
