• I have Windows 10 and have no problems using this hard drive with it.

• It should work as I have tried it on my newly installed Windows 10. Go onto the western digital website and search for the manual. It's useful. I was able to format it for MAC given the fact it's already pre-formatted for Windows. Hopefully you are/were able to get it to work.
