• Compatible with PC and Mac Formatted NTFS for use with Windows Vista, 7 or 8. Requires reformatting for Mac OS X.

• If you need one for a Mac - you need to make sure the packaging tells you it will work. Usually it is one or the other. The one I purchased is only for Windows. They are formatted differently so read the packaging.
