Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a PS3 slim model system & it will not recognize this drive. However, my PS3 works well with a smaller WD 160Gb HDD that has only USB 2.0 connectivity so it's likely an issue with the 3.0 backwards compatibility aspect of this newer drive. I would think any traditional 2.0 drive, HDD or USB Flash, should work fine. Please note that you might not be able to transfer games to it. Only game save data, & most videos, music & photos stored on your PS3 that aren't otherwise copy protected.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure but my instinct is no. It's compatible with PC's and Mac's but only for Windows and OS X systems. I don't think the Playstation operating system will be recognized. You might be able to do a work around via your PC connection and transfer games to it but I don't think you'll be able to pull downloads from your Playstation directly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to purchase an internal hard drive and make sure to properly configure.
