• A:Answer No worries, it is plug and play. It is just a matter of plugging the drive into a open USB port on your PC. It should show up as drive F, "My Passport (F:)" and then you can use it just as any other drive to save files.

Q: QuestionWill this item work on Samsung UHD 4K TV to watch movies?Would I be able to download upload movies from my computer onto this item and then be able to connect it to my television to watch these movies?

• A:Answer Yes, it will work but it will have to be reformatted to work on it first. Should be in the settings on the 360. Just search for reformatting hard drives for Xbox 360 on Youtube if you need further help with reformatting.

Q: QuestionI cant view My Passport....Apple store loaded all my info from a dead Mac to My Passport. When I plugged in the device to my new computer, it allowed only for me to create a "shortcut" on to my desk top but I cant open to see it's contents. I need my resume' and right click only shows options for rename, delete, properties, etc. Nothing that allows me to open and view.......

• A:Answer Try opening up the files in the Passport and copy them over as needed. Its a bit of a pain, but it will work if the files are actually on the Passport.

• A:Answer The best way to do that would be to plug both the iPhone and the hard drive into one computer and transfer pictures that way. That's what I do with my Samsung S5. I don't think it would work to plug the iPhone directly into the hard drive - I don't know how you would open a "File Manager" in order to transfer pictures directly.

• A:Answer It should, but I would talk to someone at Western Digital (WD) before proceeding. When you purchase this product, you automatically get full support from WD. I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 and had no issues. It should do a backup of Windows Vista and then 10, but I wouldn't want to steer you in the wrong direction. Speak to technical support person at WD (800.ASK.4WDC) to be sure.

Q: QuestionHow do I open files on passport to see if they are there and to edit?I believe I downloaded entire hard drive (C & D) to passport, but can't find out how to see if this is true. I have a new computer that I wish to transfer files to but don't wish to delete on old computer til I am certain I can. The manuals on line are confusing to a 75 year old.

• A:Answer If the drive is recognized by your OS (operating system) it should how up under your My Computer. I'm not running Win 10, and I can't remember how it shows access to the drives it has recognized. The drive comes with a backup software onboard that should install automatically when the drive is connected to your machine the first time. Copying and pasting will move data, but it may not be of any use to move to a new machine. I'd research how to move your data over to your new machine, based on the OS of it and the current machine. You will definitely have to reinstall your programs, it's impossible to simply copy and past or move programs. When they install, they are registered in the operating system, and that info will be different in your new machine.

• A:Answer I usually connect both the iphone and the passport to another computer. Any computer with two USB ports should wirk.
