• Yes, this will work with xbox1. I specifically bought this drive for the Xbox1. Works great with no issue.

• Yes, you can you this as storage for the XBOX One. Once you plug it into the USB it will prompt you to format the hard drive, you will be asked if you would like to name it and then set up all future downloads to this hard drive. You are even able to move pre-downloaded content from your internal drive to the external fairly easily too making it easy to travel to friends house and be ready to play.
