No, this hard drive has a USB connector only, to transfer any files to the hard drive you will need to connect it to a computer's USB port. In your case, you will have to transfer your pics to a computer and then back them up on an external hard drive.

It does not appear that this portable hard drive does not have a card slot. I have included a couple other portable hard drives that do come with a card slot.

No, the drive (HD) does not have a SD slot . Easiest way to transfer pix to a HD would be to download SD to a laptop (usually has a SD slot) and connect HD to the laptop. Then download from the laptop to the HD. Some camera and phones have WIFI connections the will allow you to download laptops and tablets. A few HDs have WIFI capabllities. I have never tried this method. If you have a cloud account, that may be another transfer option.
